Hackney life.

Created by Elaine one year ago

Remember our younger days, living in London.  How we loved to play with all our friends in the streets, skipping, hopscotch,2 balls, runouts and knock down ginger!! ( don't let daddy know). We also use to spend so much time over Victoria Park,  getting up to all sorts.

Remember going to Saturday morning  pictures. And on Sundays, having to go to Sunday school or church, how we hated that.

Remember sharing a tin bath in the kitchen once a week, and our special treat in the summer holidays, when we occasionally was allowed to go to the local baths , and how we would shout out for 'more hot water in number 2' or more cold water.

Our weekend treat, of tizer or cherryade etc, and our weekly comic.

What fun times we had.

I'm glad to say. We continued to have fun times, our first holiday abroad and other holidays.

Lots of fun times going out to the pub, which often ended in stopping off for a cheeky kebab.

And in the later years coming to spend time with us in Cyprus.  I'm so very glad we were able to share all our special places with you, and really enjoyed ending the evening in the garden playing cards with a few vinos or 2!!

I'm so going to miss seeing you lazying in the hammock and sunbathing around our pool.

Thank you darling sister, for such happy memories, we made together.

Sleep tight, my brave and fighting sister, you tried your best not to leave us.

Sweet dreams until we meet again.xxx
